BestPriceHK helps you browse grocery prices from Wellcome, Best Mart 360°, HKTVmall, city’super, Market Place, Marks & Spencer, SOGO Freshmart, YATA in one place. It is an independent comparison service, with no account required.

Prices from the retailers

A search reads a selection of up to 20 listings from each retailer (up to 10 from city’super). Results show the prices returned at the displayed Hong Kong time and may be cached for up to five minutes. This is a selection of matching listings, not every product or every supermarket in Hong Kong.

Supermarket coverage

The directory also links to PARKnSHOP, Watsons, AEONCITY, DON DON DONKI’s branch shopping options, and Oliver’s Gourmet Online selection hosted by Wellcome. Their prices are checked on those websites and are not included in the comparison results. city’super and city’super E-Shop are one source. M&S covers its Food catalogue; SOGO covers Freshmart listings only.

Best Mart 360° contributes published catalogue prices, excluding multi-buy totals. Confirm offers and stock at your branch. YATA covers its limited online preorder selection, such as fruit and gift baskets, rather than its full supermarket range. Search these two catalogues in Chinese for the best coverage.

Search with a product photo

Choose Search by photo to scan a barcode or read a product label for free. Photos are processed on your device. Barcode numbers are looked up in Open Food Facts, a community food database available under the Open Database License. Its coverage is incomplete, so you can also read English or Chinese label text or type the name. A clear, readable label or barcode is needed; the reader cannot identify an unlabelled object by appearance.

Check and edit the suggested name, brand and full pack size before comparing. Without a pack size, results include all returned sizes. Barcode lookup identifies a database record; retailer results still use text matching and are not verified by barcode. Check the brand, variety and size before choosing a lowest listed price. All prices come from the retailer listings, not the label reader.

Different packs stay separate

We only combine listings when their brand, full product name and pack description match after basic text normalisation. A missing pack size keeps a listing separate. Similar names, different sizes, and different languages remain separate. Listings can therefore refer to the same product without being combined. Check the details at the retailer before deciding.

The price you pay

All amounts are in Hong Kong dollars. Listed prices do not include delivery fees. Membership discounts, minimum purchases and multi-buy promotions may have extra conditions; promotion text is shown as supplied by the retailer. A crossed-out price is the retailer’s supplied original price.

Availability and product language

Prices and availability can change after a search. Product names and offers appear in the language supplied by the retailer. When a retailer cannot be reached, we show its status separately and provide a link to continue searching there.

Shop with the retailer

Save whole carts with quantities and your chosen stores. The subtotal uses the prices saved when products were added; check current prices, delivery and discounts with each retailer before buying. You can record what you paid and reuse a cart for your next shop.

Purchases, payments, fulfilment and returns happen on the retailer’s website. BestPriceHK does not process orders. Store names and product images identify the source of each listing and do not imply an affiliation or endorsement.
